Tedx L.A. Miracle Mile - Humanity has evolved to its current state due to its species-specific adaptability and plasticity. With human population numbers rapidly increasing throughout the century, we are now confronting local and global scale decisions regarding food and food production which will have profound impact on our planet in the coming years. TEDxLA Miracle Mile's "Food and Food Systems in the 21st Century” intends to suspend political and ideological platforms and examine what is becoming obsolete, what is current, and what is possible on both a local community scale, on a broad globalized scale and in space.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
