A call for the nations of the earth to designate the Moon as a wilderness preserve.

I realize this is a "lunatic" idea, but so was the call to preserve Yellowstone, Yosemite and all National/International Parks.

For the past 3 years or so I have managed a blog called Moon Park to suggest the nations of the earth designate the Moon as a wilderness preserve before this pristine environment is desecrated or "claimed" by one country or corporation (see the latest "space tourism" plan by "Golden Spike"!).

I guess what I am primarily asking for is a radical Looking Up, that leaders in space and on the ground look up, reflect and consider the relief it would be to see our near neighbor in space, knowing it has been protected for all time, in the name of Mr. Armstrong and in the name of all Humanity.

I am open to all comments and suggestions to make the Moon Park a reality. Thank you!
