|| social media advocate | eLearning developer | community activist || I'm passionate about using social networking tools to benefit communities of learners & local communities. Ten plus years ago I made a tree-change: leaving Bondi for Blackheath, and leaving the media for sustainability, community & politics. The move led me to a new career focussed on online education in a university context – this encompassed administering, moderating & developing content for online teaching sites; and theoretical research into the effectiveness of electronic portfolios in assessment. At UWS I also workked on an integration pilot for tertiary-qualified migrants & refugees; and the 'Sex & Ethics' education program for young people.
