I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have worked in private security for a little over a year. I am also a freelance writer. I one day hope to become a published writer and a professional counselor specializing in substance abuse and trauma issues. I am a parent of a soon to be teenager. I am also the child of a Vietnam veteran and the granddaughter of WWI, WWII and Korean War veterans. Mental health issues have always been a particular passion of mine. I believe in giving back to one's community and that a community is only as strong as its people.
