Space is Busy, Active and Unkind

From the blog post:

We have been pretty much up to our ears in EVA - extravehicular activity or spacewalking - preparations and then spacewalking! I think most of you know we had a spacewalk using the robotic arm Thursday, August 30th. It went sort of long. Getting tools ready You don’t just “go ...

I follow the ISS activities with a great deal of interest and envy. Thanks Suni and the crew for your blogs where we earthlings can learn more of your important work there. Being mechanically inclined myself, I can readily understand the difficulties you must be having with that stubborn bolt.. I'm sure with the expertise that is available to you, the next spacewalk on Wednesday will get the job done. Thanks to you all and God Bless you and the team. Will be following your work tomorrow with interest. HUtch in South Carolina

I do hope and pray that you get that bolt sorted out and install the power unit because I know how important it is to have power back up there in space. No power back up means no way to get the onboard systems to work in case of an emergency. so good luck on your EVA and Godspeed!

Important to have the power unit installed accurately for backup power in case of an emergency and for crew safety. I hope all goes well and best wishes.

Toothbrush, really? I've fixed a muffler with dental floss, so it makes sense. Did you get the retirement emails, photos and videos I posted?

Hello Astronaut Suni Williams, I am so envious and awed at what your doing. Your Blog is interesting to say the least. My family and I enjoyed watching you on the news this evening. I can only think of one question right now, Do you experience Turbulence from the enviornment outside? Well Suni Have a Safe Journey, wish I could be up there with you, take care. Check out my Youtube channel sometime for a laugh or two. Best wishes, Michael Monroe WWW.Youtube.com/Montagedrift please leave comments

As a mother, can I push my kids to become astronauts? When did you know you wanted to become an astronaut? Did your parents surround you with science and mathematics? I'm hoping space travel will be easier by the time they have a chance to be in your position. What you and your colleagues do as astronauts is amazing to say the least.
