Fragile Oasis has inspired me…
Seeing our home planet, Earth, through the eyes of our astronauts gives me a new perspective of how precious this life is. We are protected from the hostile expanse of "space" by the thin blue line of our atmosphere. From their point of view above Earth, we can see smoke from burning forests and brown runoff of soil into the waterways once the vegetation disappears. We see beauty and devastation in a single 90 minute pass around the world. I'm inspired to make this fragile oasis a better place to live -- to sustain (and improve) the quality of life for my fellow Earthlings. Thanks Ron for your vision to create this website!
