We spent the morning taking our NURC swim test (everyone did great) and going over our scuba gear. We're using twin 100ft3 tanks. In the afternoon we did an equipment shake down dive in the training area at the Aquarius habitat. On the boat ride out to the site three Dolphins followed behind the boat and rode the wake of the boat. After descending on our dive, we did training drills in a sand patch near the habitat at a depth of 45'. We then did an orientation swim around the reef. We saw spotted eagle rays, eels, lobsters, barracuda and hundreds of other species of marine life. It was a great first dive, good visibility, and very little current, although the water temperature is still a little cold.
